I believe
that Mr. Barron, a resident of a suburb of Flint,
Michigan, deserves to be nominated for the National Inventor's Hall of Fame for his Dermatome Skin Grafting Tool, Patent Number 2,457,772.
I had hoped that Kettering University would take the lead
in this task since Mr. Barron is a graduate of Kettering
and he has donated a great deal of time and over
$2,000,000 to Kettering. Unfortunately, after
eighteen months of inaction, Kettering has told me they
lack the staff or funds to hire someone to write a
nomination.
So I am
proposing that a community task force be formed to write
and guide Mr. Barron's nomination trough the process.
