Publishers of Books about Japanese Culture & Business PracticesI have received some criticism about my comments related to Japan. I am in no way against the Japanese people, whom I generally view as victims of their political and business leaders. Those leaders are trying to treat Americans as they have their own people, and they have made a point of trying to cripple America's patent system. Japanese businesses have started to treat the American independent inventor just as shabbily as American owned multinationals have for many years. For that reason, I strongly recommend that all inventors should be aware of how large Japanese companies do business before starting to market their inventions, and furthermore all inventors should be contacting their legislators to stop Japan's attempt to make our patent system like theirs, I.e. weak and ineffective at protecting small companies from the predatory practices of the big ones.
